The Little Heaven

The theme for my graphic that I created is ‘The little heaven’. I created two cute and fat characters in my graphic. the female is named "brownie" and the male one, "brown" :) Brownie and Brown live in a little heaven of their own. Their skin colour is so because they evolve from potatoes, which explains why they look so chubby and cute. Notice the greenish colour leaves behind them? well, as both of them are influenced by their favourite designer-Alfons Maria Mucha, they decided to add in his style in their home. So, Brown and Brownie spent a lot of effort in painting it.
Brown's hobby is singing, so everyday without fail he would sing Brownie to sleep and whenever he sings, their little heaven will be filled with sparkles and bubbles and also music notes! They are so influenced by alfon's style that even the music notes have a little of his style.All of these makes their home look very "magical" and relaxing. Many might think that heaven should have the colour white to represent it.However, Brownie think otherwise she loves the colour purple hence, she decided to use purple to decorate her home. :)
After introducing their little heaven, you have the urge to visit their home, don't you? :D

My Style

The style I have developed can be seen from my past sketches. I love to draw whenever I feel bored and below are some of my works that I did some time back.

from all these sketches, i believed it can show what my style is and like what i said, i like to draw cartoon things and sometimes also create my own characters when drawing. Hence, i thought of using cute characters with my designer's style.

Life

He was born in Ivancice, a small provincial town in the Czech Republic. He started his artistic career as an autodidact and went to Munich in Southern Bavaria and studied at the Munich Academy of Fine Arts from 1885 to 1887. Mucha became famous with a commission for a poster for the actress Sarah Bernard in 1894.

His Style

Mucha developed his own personal style - characterized by art nouveau elements, tender colors and bycantine decorative elements. And all these elements were ranked around images of fairy like young women with long hair and splendid, refined costumes. In the coming years, this type of female images should become his trademark.

Reasons why i choose him

I love his style very much because it gives me the feeling of elegant and it seems that ideas can naturally flow as you pen your drawings. His drawings are often images of fairy and fairy gives me the magical and mysterious feel and hence, it inspired me to design cute characters with Art Nouveau style.
